]]>Fashion Editorial Shoot at the Palazzo Ca Zeno in Venice
In September of 2015, Von Trapp Photography and crew traveled to Venice Italy for a fashion glamour photo shoot with model uNicoleorn. During our several days there we created fashion images of Nicole in lingerie, clothing and in the nude. These were designed, photographed, and than created during post processing in a fashion magazine style.

Traveling with all of our lighting and camera equipment, props, and wardrobe, we flew from San Antonio to Houston to meed our Las Vegas based model for the trip to Italy. The plazzo that we used as our set location, along with the back alleyways of Venice proved to be lovely locations to create wonderful fashion images. ]]>Eight fantastic days in The Netherlands working with a local photographer, his photo assistant and shooting three delightful models. We traveled to Holland to work with 3 sexy and talented models, and together we created beautiful and evocative fashion, glamour, and art nude images.
Shooting mostly in public on the streets of Gouda and Naarden-Vesting, the images we created are daring, erotic, and evocative.

Boudoir and Lingerie Glamour Portfolio

We specialize in boudoir photography that is glamorous, sexy and fashion inspired.

By definition the boudoir is a woman's parlor, sitting room or bedroom. We classify our boudoir images into Classic, Classy, Bridal, Sexy and Romantic. Each has elements of styling, mood, expression, pose, location and attitude that can be identified and assigned to each.

In the Classic style, the woman would be posed in one of these settings, perhaps at her dressing table or getting ready and in some form of dress or undress. These images often have the subject not looking at the camera. Instead she will be looking away putting on make-up, stockings/getting dressed etc, and tend to be more aloof.

Classy boudoir can be in a setting as above in the classic style, but has less to no reference to getting ready. The subject will often be aware of, or looking at the camera. Her expression can depict most any emotion from sweet to sassy. However not an overtly sexy expression, which is placed into its own category (see below).

Bridal boudoir as the name suggests, will include use of the veil, white lingerie, shoes and perhaps the wedding dress. Otherwise bridal boudoir can take on the elements of any of the other styles (classic, classy, sexy or romantic).

Sexy Boudoir incorporates moderately to overtly sexy overtones to the imagery via posing and expression. But it can also be only sexually suggestive. Use of implied, partial or complete nudity can be utilized to create the sexuality of the image.

Romantic boudoir is somewhat difficult to pin down. It can be a subtle element noted in any of the other styles, but less so in the sexy style.

Edgy boudoir refers to elements of expression, styling, pose, location, and post processing that add an edge to the image.

We classify images of a woman in lingerie who is photographed in any other setting as Lingerie Glamour, Sexy Glamour or Lingerie Fashion. A nude, not in the boudoir setting, is classed as Glamour Nude or Art Nude.

Venice 2017 Fashion Editorial Glamour Shoot

Traveling with us were models Kim Monet & Kat Alxies, together we spent a week creating lovely fashion, editorial, glamour and art nude images both at the palazzo and around the city.

United Kingdom Shoot 2019

]]>In mid October 2019, Von Trapp Photography traveled to the U.K. for two weeks of planned shooting to create fine art images.

During this grand trip I was grateful to once again work with the U.S. based model Kat, who I shot with
in 2017 in Venice. She along with Photo Production Assistant Mina Smith accompanied me to Edinburgh, Scotland.
There we were met by English Photo Production Assistant Steve who drove up from England.

Over the next week we traveled and lived in a motorhome, working our way up into the Highlands and than down the west coast of Scotland.
Our shoot/travel schedule was ambitious, taking us to 5 castles, 2 beach locations, high into a Alpine valley in the Glencoe area, to some hydroelectric pipes in Kinlochleven, and a stone circle and cairns in Argyll.

For the 2nd week we turned in our motorhome and were the guests of our local host now in the English Lake District.
During this time we conducted further fine art shoots in a forest, river, Alpine lake, and a glen.

We had the chance to experience British pub life and toured several areas of interest. Finally, this lovely area and the once barn, now remodeled home that was our base became the set for some fashion-glamour images.

Our adventure/photo shoot finished with 2 days in the lovely Scottish city of Edinburgh where we created more photo art, and also took in the “art” of culture in this city prior to flying back to the states.

Thank you to everyone who did their part to make this project possible.

Von Trapp Photography traveled from San Antonio Texas to the elegant and vibrant city of Prague to work with 6 talented women to create some fashion, glamour and art nude images.
We planned and created several shoots that were taken both on location in a cool 4th floor glass apartment overlooking the Franciscan Gardens, just a short 1Km from Prague's Old City.
We also had a daylight and late night shoot on the picturesque streets of the city.
For our outdoors shoots, I wanted to showcase our models agents the quintessential grace of this European city. Capturing its textures, color, light, feeling and architecture.

Beach Glamour Shoot | Austin Glamour Photography

]]>These beautifully crafted glamour photographs were carefully planned and staged during separate shoots at a variety of locations.

Each setup was planned in advance using a mood board which was created to style the shot in detail. The best time of day was considered for the most desired natural lighting which we would then augment with our lighting equipment. Wardrobe and props were established and a shot order list was finalized.

During each shoot the necessary lighting and support gear was setup. In most cases we used two to three studio strobes with light modifiers to create these magazine quality images.

After the shoot, we backed up all of the images onto two separate hard drives for safety. The final stage of our process is the culling of images to identify the most beautiful. These then enter into the post-production phase (formally called developing, printing and retouching in the film days) to render the final artistic version.

]]>For this beach glamour shoot with our model we selected 3 different locations in Port Aransas to create a variety of images.
A shoot on a windy beach is always both fun and potentially challenging. With blowing sand and salt spray photography equipment is always at risk. But for the model too, maintaining makeup and hair will be a possible challenge.
Shooting at the most desirable times of day, early morning and late afternoon, will allow for the chance to create some spectacular images.

Sexy and evocatively-themed glamour shoot with Ms. Susan.
Ms. Susan and her husband contacted us with a long held wish to create a sexy glamour photo shoot that was designed around a cowgirl theme. After chatting with them and offering some ideas, they contracted us to bring this dream to fruition.

This being a commissioned work it received extensive per-production planning. We created a mood/inspiration board on Pinterest which was discussed at length with the clients and allowed us to further develop our concept. Next was location scouting and coordination for the desired site and making a prop list.
Now came the resourcing of props and other items needed for the shoot, discussion of wardrobe with the modle, and finalizing a shot list. We coordinated for a hair/makeup artist to be on set, checked and pack our gear.
The shoot was a great success, creating images that completely delighted Susan and her loving hubby.

This commissioned engagement shoot was shot at the Aztec Theater in San Antonio Texas by Von Trapp Photography.
After extensive pre-production planning we met our couple at the theater before sunrise. This early hour was necessary in order to stage and capture the images of them on the street in front to the Aztec both for the reduced traffic on this Sunday morning, bit also to insure that we could see the illuminated Aztec sign and marque with the couples names and wedding date.
