Certifying the Vehicle by RV Tiburon 2005.

This 7-year mission conducting deep ocean sonar mapping off of the Florida coast in 4000 feet of water officially started with the proof of concept as seen in this video. The video shows the initial test of the autonomous underwater vertical to successfully find and photograph a target on the bottom. During this phase of my time aboard RV Tiburon I worked as Medical and Security Officer, Deck Chief, Launch and Recovery (LARS) Operator, and Recovery Diver. As well as Officer of the Watch.
